Job summary

Parallon, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an experienced Telephone Triage Registered Nurse to join our remote call center team. You will deliver patient-centered care, triage over the phone, and guide callers with evidence-based decisions using established protocols.

Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, making referrals, documenting interactions, and maintaining HIPAA compliance while providing compassionate, professional customer service to diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma - Required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – Preferred.
• 3+ years of bedside nursing experience.
• Telehealth experience helpful, not required.
• BLS Certification Required.
• Compact license in your state of residence is preferred.
• Licensure required for NV, CA, and AK.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurse advice and triage services to consumers calling with clinical questions.
• Provide appropriate compassionate advice using evidence-based clinical decision tools; facilitate referrals and event registration.
• Utilize nursing skills and approved protocols to provide telephone nurse triage and health advice.
• Facilitate referrals for health services via telephone and perform call processing.
• Ensure performance standards are met and accept constructive feedback.
• Maintain confidentiality, HIPAA and PHI compliance.
