Job summary

Zayo Group in Houston is seeking a results-oriented B2B sales professional to grow new customers and expand existing relationships across fiber, IP, SD-WAN and security offerings.

You will develop territory plans, run multi-touch campaigns with SalesLoft, manage opportunities from discovery to close, and forecast accurately while collaborating with Sales Engineering and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience in telecom or technology.
• Proven prospecting and pipeline development.
• Ability to build relationships with multiple decision-makers.
• Familiarity with telecommunications or network services.
• Experience conducting discovery and positioning solutions consultatively.
• Strong CRM discipline and forecasting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory and account plans to identify high-potential prospects and build a pipeline of new revenue opportunities.
• Leverage SalesLoft to execute targeted, multi-touch campaigns and engage decision-makers.
• Conduct outbound prospecting with an account-based approach to prioritise opportunities.
• Establish meetings to understand business needs and communicate Zayo's value proposition.
• Develop relationships with multiple influencers to drive long-term growth.
• Drive opportunities through the full sales process from discovery to close.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product and Operations to deliver solutions.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline in Salesforce; travel as required.
