Signature Performance seeks a ClaimsXM Technical Writer to bridge between subject‑matter experts and front‑end users, gathering, organizing, and translating complex IT governance information.

You will design, write, edit, format, and maintain policies, procedures, SOPs, and training content, ensuring clarity for diverse audiences and compliance with standards.

Strong communication, project management, and the ability to tailor content to readers’ technical levels are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical writing and training experience in a fast-paced IT organization.
• Experience collaborating with technical and operational team members.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn new processes, software, hardware, and technical concepts quickly.
• Analytical mindset with ability to digest large amounts of data and build materials.
• Time management to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Capacity to adjust tone and structure to readers’ technical proficiency.
• Knowledge of the 7 C's of Technical Writing.
• Proficiency with documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze with users, tech staff, and clients to gather accurate information.
• Review sources to determine content inclusion.
• Write, edit, format and design materials with diagrams and charts for different audiences.
• Create and maintain IT governance documents including policies, procedures, SOPs.
• Test and refine content for consistency, accuracy, and understanding.
• Maintain yearly reviews and updates of governance documentation.
• Communicate clearly; present and train others.
• Public speaking and training responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
