Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a ClaimsXM Technical Writer to bridge gaps between experts and end users. The role focuses on gathering, structuring, and presenting technical information clearly, with emphasis on IT governance content, policies, procedures, and SOPs.

You will collaborate with Operations, Developers, and Data Engineers to produce user‑friendly documentation and maintain it through annual reviews, ensuring accuracy and readability for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 3‑5 years technical writing and training experience in a fast‑paced IT organization.
• Experience working directly with technical and operational team members.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to learn new processes, software, hardware and technical concepts quickly.
• Analytical mindset with ability to digest large data and extract relevant information.
• Time management to juggle multiple projects with deadlines.
• Capable of tailoring tone and structure to audiences based on readers’ proficiency.
• Knowledge of the 7 C's of Technical Writing.
• Proficiency with documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Research and Analysis – Gather accurate technical information from users, staff and clients.
• Review sources to determine what needs to be included in materials.
• Writing, Editing, Formatting – present information clearly using diagrams and charts.
• Create, write, format, and maintain IT governance docs: policies, procedures, SOPs.
• Test & Redesign – verify content for consistency and grammar; test for understanding.
• Maintain yearly reviews and updates on all IT governance documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey ideas simply.
• Public speaking, formal presentation, and training skills.
