Signature Performance is seeking a ClaimsXM Technical Writer for a remote-based position open to applicants nationwide. The role centers on gathering, analyzing, formatting, translating, and writing complex information into user-friendly documentation, acting as a bridge between SMEs and front-end users.

You will collaborate with operational staff, developers, and data engineers to create, edit, and maintain IT governance documentation, SOPs, and policies, while ensuring clarity for diverse

Qualifications

• 3–5 years technical writing and training experience in a fast-paced IT organization.
• Experience working directly with technical and operational team members.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Ability to learn new processes and technical concepts quickly.
• Strong analytical mindset to digest data and build materials.
• Excellent time management to juggle multiple projects.
• Ability to tailor content to readers' technical proficiency.
• Knowledge of the 7 C's of Technical Writing.
• Proficiency with documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Research and Analysis – Collaborate with operational users, technical staff, and clients to gather accurate technical information.
• Review details from sources to determine what needs to be included.
• Writing, Editing, Formatting – design information in a logical manner using diagrams, charts for varied audiences.
• Create, write, format, and maintain IT governance documentation including policies and SOPs.
• Test & Redesign – review content for consistency, accuracy, and grammar with usability testing.
• Maintain yearly review and updates on all IT governance documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to convey complicated ideas in a simple manner.
• Public speaking, formal presentation, and training skills.
• Other duties may be assigned.
