Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a ClaimsXM Technical Writer for a remote role with nationwide eligibility. You will gather, analyze, format, translate, and write complex information into user-friendly documentation, acting as a bridge between subject-matter experts and front-end users.

The position emphasizes research, writing, editing, formatting, and maintaining IT governance documents, with strong emphasis on clarity, accuracy, and audience adaptation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years technical writing and training experience in a fast-paced IT organization.
• Experience working directly with technical and operational team members.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Products including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn new processes, software, hardware and technical concepts quickly.
• Analytical mindset to digest data and extract relevant information.
• Time management to juggle multiple projects with deadlines.
• Ability to tailor tone to readers' technical proficiency.
• Knowledge of the 7 C's of Technical Writing.
• Proficiency with documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze with operational users, staff, and clients to gather accurate technical information.
• Review sources to determine what needs to be included in materials.
• Design gathered information in a logical manner using diagrams and charts for diverse audiences.
• Create, write, format, and maintain IT governance documents including policies, procedures, SOPs.
• Test and redesign content for consistency, accuracy, and grammar; conduct usability testing.
• Maintain yearly reviews and updates on IT governance documentation.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly through verbal and written channels.
• Participate in public speaking, formal presentations, and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
