Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a ClaimsXM Technical Writer to bridge information between subject-matter experts and end users. This remote role supports nationwide applicants and focuses on gathering, organizing, and presenting IT governance content.

Responsibilities include researching, writing, editing, and maintaining policies, SOPs, and procedures while collaborating with operational staff, developers, and data engineers. Strong communication and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years technical writing and training experience in a fast-paced IT organization.
• Experience working directly with technical and operational team members.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to learn new processes, software, hardware and technical concepts quickly.
• Analytical mindset with ability to digest large data and extract relevant information.
• Time management to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to tailor content to readers' technical proficiency.
• Knowledge of the 7 C's of Technical Writing.
• Proficiency with documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Research and Analysis – Collaborate with operational users, technical staff, and clients to gather technical information for documentation.
• Review details from sources to determine what to include in materials.
• Writing, Editing, Formatting – Present information logically using diagrams and charts for various audiences.
• Create, write, format, and maintain IT governance documentation including policies, procedures, SOPs.
• Test & Redesign – review content for consistency, accuracy, and grammar; test for understanding.
• Maintain yearly review and updates on IT governance documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey complex ideas simply.
• Public speaking, formal presentation, and training skills.
• Other duties may be assigned.
