Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Flex Support Specialist to deliver first‑ and second‑level support for the Flex Computer Aided Dispatch solution. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and network issues across Windows and Linux environments, install and configure applications, and assist with device deployment and remote diagnostics.

The role requires strong customer service, ITIL familiarity, and the ability to work flexible shifts including on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical support or similar role.
• Experience supporting hardware and software in Windows and Linux.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and remote support tools.
• Experience with mobile devices (iOS, Android) and collaboration tools.
• Ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide post‑sales technical support via phone, email, chat, and in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, and network issues.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain end‑user devices and peripherals.
• Install and support software applications; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Adhere to ITIL or other service management best practices.
