Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Flex Support Specialist to provide post-sales support for the MSI Flex CAD solution in Windows and Linux environments. You will handle first- and second-level technical inquiries, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with device configuration and network diagnostics.

The role requires strong customer service, familiarity with IT service management best practices, and the ability to work remote with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; ~2+ years in Technical Support
• Proven hands-on experience in a dedicated technical support role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software
• Familiarity with networking concepts and mobile device support
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MCP)
• Experience with help desk ticketing systems (Zendesk/ServiceNow/Jira)
• Familiarity with remote support tools
• Experience scripting (PowerShell, Python)
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Fluent and experienced with AI-enhanced productivity tools

Responsibilities

• Deliver first- and second-level technical support via phone, email, chat, and in-person channels
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, OS, networks, and applications
• Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices
• Install and support software applications
• Assist with network diagnostics and connectivity issues
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams
• Adhere to ITIL or equivalent service management practices
• Maintain flexibility for shift work and on-call rotations
