Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Flex Support Specialist to provide post‑sales support for the Flex CAD Dispatch solution in Windows and Linux environments. You will troubleshoot, configure devices, deploy software, and maintain knowledge bases while adhering to ITIL practices and CJIS security requirements.

You’ll work in a fast-paced team, handling multiple tasks, and delivering high customer satisfaction with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of experience in Technical Support
• Ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customers
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; no employer sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Deliver first- and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and in-person channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues for the Flex CAD Dispatch solution across hardware, software, OS, network.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices including desktops, laptops, and mobiles.
• Install, configure, and support various software applications.
• Assist with network diagnostics and connectivity problems.
• Create and maintain knowledge base documentation for common issues.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams as needed.
• Follow ITIL or other ITSM best practices.
• Maintain on-call rotations and shift flexibility.
