Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 for a remote position in the United States. You will resolve complex, time-sensitive issues related to ES 1.1x upgrades, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure regulatory compliance in remediation efforts.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in CS/ET or 3+ years of equivalent experience, 2+ years SQL experience, and Windows Server/IT infrastructure knowledge. Remote work from home office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience; ability to write queries and analyze SQL data.
• SSIS (SQL Job) exposure/experience.
• SQL Reporting Services experience.
• Knowledge of Windows Server (2008+) and desktop administration.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Remote position working from home office.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of support service operations to answer inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations on the 1.1x Channel.
• Acts with customers in mind when choosing and utilizing Phone and/or Email communication channels.
• Demonstrates effective use of phone and email for communication channel.
• Adapts content, tone, and form to reader and purpose in documenting case notes.
• Identifies trends in case work and maintains data quality (Salesforce).
• Provides progress updates to customers and seeks feedback.
