Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex issues and support the ES 1.1x upgrade. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, remote troubleshooting, and timely customer communications.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL, SSIS, and Windows Server experience, plus a background in IT service operations and documentation. On-site presence is requested with flexibility for remote work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years) and ability to write queries and analyze data (SELECT/JOIN).
• SSIS exposure/experience and SQL Reporting Services proficiency.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Networking basics, topology, and ports; familiarity with XML language.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex, time-sensitive, high-risk issues including escalations and downtime.
• Provide CSC support for ES 1.1x upgrade and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely communication.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x, troubleshoot and document cases with quality notes.
• Demonstrate customer education and adjust communication to reader needs.
