Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues related to ES 1.1x upgrades. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide timely customer updates, and apply knowledge of BD products within hospital IT environments and pharmacy workflows.

Role requires SQL experience, Windows Server administration, and remote work readiness. A Bachelor's degree or 3+ years' equivalent experience is expected. Remote position with on-site options may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years). Must be able to write queries and analyze SQL data (SELECT and JOIN).
• SSIS (SQL Job) exposure/experience and SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Networking topology, terminology, commands; IIS and Web App Administration; Group Policies; VMware terminology.
• Ability to review application and OS logs (2+ years).
• Flexible in working hours to meet remediation team needs; Remote position (work from home).

Responsibilities

• Assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive issues including customer escalations.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to ensure timely communication.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x for troubleshooting and support.
• Provide updates to customers and ensure needs are met.
• Support BD products within hospital IT environments and pharmacy workflows.
