Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive issues, including customer escalations, site downtime, and remote troubleshooting. You will support ES 1.1x upgrades and coordinate with field service teams to ensure timely remediation while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong foundation in SQL, Windows server environments, and experience supporting hospital IT workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years) and ability to write queries and analyze SQL data (Select and Join statements).
SSIS (SQL Job) exposure/experience and SQL Reporting Services.
Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
Understanding of XML language and ability to review application and OS logs.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations on the 1.1x Channel with a service-oriented approach.
Provide timely progress updates to customers and ensure needs are met.
Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to ensure timely communication and coordination of support.
Maintain high data quality and integrity (Salesforce) in case notes and documentation.
