Job summary

Azelis Americas is hiring a Technical Sales Representative to cover Pennsylvania and Western New York. This remote position focuses on selling our specialty chemical products and services to existing and new customers, while delivering superior service and technical support.

You will develop a strategic plan with key accounts, build strong relationships, and present technical solutions leveraging our laboratories and suppliers to grow profitability and market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (chemistry, engineering or technical degree preferred) from a four-year college/university.
• 5-8 or more years field sales experience.
• Industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.
• High moral and business ethics orientation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and exploit profitable sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Optimize sales results by prioritizing profitable products and disengaging non-fit offerings.
• Develop product knowledge from data sheets and technical reports.
• Establish and sustain relationships with key accounts for continuity.
• Provide written reports on sales calls and pricing changes.
• Collaborate with VP of Sales to set targets and implement strategies.
• Schedule joint calls with supplier personnel on key customers.
• Introduce new products and discuss existing products to increase sales.
• Log opportunities and develop short- and long-term sales plans.
• Attend major trade shows and industry associations.
