Job summary

Bluefors Cryocooler Technologies, Inc. seeks a technically minded Technical Sales Manager to lead relationships with academic and research customers in quantum technology.

The role combines technical sales, demonstrations, and collaboration with Engineering to drive solutions. The successful candidate will have an MSc in applied/technical physics or strong quantum experience, fluency in English, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• MSc in applied or technical physics or strong relevant experience in quantum computing.
• Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or a closely related customer-facing technical role.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions aligned with their research, technical, and business needs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences while articulating the value of Bluefors solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer discussions, and respond to technical inquiries promptly.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with academic, research, and other customers to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Serve as a liaison between Sales and Engineering, sharing customer feedback and market insights for product development.
• Assist with preparation of technical proposals, customer documentation, and reports.
• Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive position.
• Support long-term technology collaboration with customers in quantum technology and scientific research.
• Travel as needed to meet customers and support sales activities.
