Job summary

Ellsworth Adhesives, a global distributor of specialty chemicals and adhesives, seeks an Engineering Sales Representative to cover the Charleston, SC area.

The role is fully remote, requires living in the Charleston region, and focuses on applying technical solutions, building vendor relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Candidates should have 3+ years of industrial B2B sales experience, a BS degree, reliable vehicle, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; travel will be frequent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial B2B sales experience, preferably in the specialty chemical market or related field.
• Bachelor of Science degree required, technical or business-related preferred.
• Must have reliable access to a personal vehicle for daily use within the territory.
• Must maintain current automobile insurance meeting company requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Strong emphasis on integrity, customer service, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Determines and presents engineered solutions for customer applications and coordinates testing.
• Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with key personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, QA, management).
• Partners with stakeholders to ensure customer needs are addressed across internal and external teams.
• Maintains knowledge of specialty chemical solutions and uses technology to manage the territory efficiently.
• Identifies and pursues new business opportunities to hit sales targets in the assigned area.
• Bring innovative solutions to customers in diverse industries such as aerospace, transportation, electronics, and medical devices.
