Job summary

Ellsworth Adhesives is seeking an Engineering Sales Representative to drive the sales process within an assigned territory and collaborate with the customer’s engineering team to specify and develop manufacturing processes for specialty chemical solutions.

The role is fully remote but candidates must live within the Charleston, SC area where the sales territory is located, enabling daily collaboration and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required, within a technical or business-related field preferred.
• Expert communication skills, including up, down, across, within and outside the organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Determines and presents engineered solutions for customer applications and coordinates testing with the customer.
• Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate personnel.
• Partners with internal and external stakeholders to address customer needs.
• Maintains technical knowledge of specialty chemical solutions and uses technology to manage the territory.
• Identifies and pursues new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
