Job summary

Motion Industries seeks an Account Specialist in the Chicago, IL area to drive sales and build strong customer relationships. You will collaborate with Account Representatives to deliver product knowledge, prepare customized quotes, and present technical solutions.

The role requires a high school diploma and industry sales experience, travel, and on-site support. You will coordinate with vendor resources and provide technical assistance to customers in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Industry and sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial products including power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to influence customers while maintaining relationships.
• Proactive, self-motivated with ability to multitask.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Increases revenue and profitability through new business and account development.
• Interacts face-to-face with customers to build relationships and satisfaction.
• Understands complex requirements for customized quoting.
• Delivers effective sales presentations and ensures technical requirements are met.
• Assists with on-site troubleshooting and coordinates vendor resources.
• Quotes, engineers, and closes product and solution sales with local customers.
• Provides technical support as required.
