Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to support the Technical Program Manager on a fast-paced federal technology program. You will own day-to-day program controls, trackers, artifacts, and deliverables, translating technical detail into clear status updates and action owners.

The ideal candidate will be fluent with IT delivery concepts, able to work with engineering teams, and proficient with Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 to drive reporting and process improvement on multiple

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 8+ years in a related field or equivalent experience.
Certifications PMP, CAPM, CSM, SAFe preferred but not required.
Clearance Required: Public Trust
Experience in project/program coordination in a fast-paced technical environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and information streams.
Hands-on experience maintaining program artifacts such as action/deliverable trackers, risk/issue and decision logs, and schedules.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to turn technical discussions into clear actions.

Responsibilities

Maintain program trackers for actions, decisions, risks/issues, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
Monitor schedules across multiple workstreams and elevate overdue or at‑risk items.
Incorporate changing priorities while keeping existing commitments on track.
Proactively follow up with internal teams and subcontractors to obtain status and deliverables.
Support customer coordination within communication boundaries.
Escalate matters requiring program judgment to TPM.
Prepare agendas and materials for meetings and draft status reports and documentation.
Capture decisions, actions, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and open questions, updating trackers.
Identify opportunities to streamline coordination and automate processes (e.g., Power Automate).
