Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to support the Technical Program Manager on a fast-paced federal technology program. The analyst will own day-to-day program controls, trackers, and artifacts, driving actions across internal teams and subcontractors while surfacing risks early.

The role requires translating technical content into clear status updates and escalation points for the TPM. A strong IT delivery vocabulary and data-driven mindset are essential for success in a fully remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years in business administration, information technology, project management, or related field.
• Certifications PMP, CAPM, CSM, SAFe or similar are preferred but not required.
• Clearance: Public Trust.
• Experience coordinating complex programs in fast-paced, technical environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and follow-through.
• Hands-on experience maintaining action/deliverable trackers, risks/issues, and schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate technical discussions into actions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program trackers for actions, decisions, risks, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor schedules across multiple workstreams and elevate at-risk items.
• Incorporate priority shifts while keeping commitments.
• Follow up with teams and subcontractors to obtain status and deliverables.
• Support customer coordination within boundaries.
• Escalate matters needing TPM judgment.
• Prepare agendas and materials for meetings; document decisions and actions.
• Draft status reports, presentations, and SOPs.
