Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to support the Technical Program Manager on a fast-paced federal technology program. You will own day-to-day program controls, maintain trackers and artifacts, and surface risks early.

The role requires translating technical details into clear status updates and actions for the TPM, with a focus on IT terminology and data-driven tracking tools. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience with PMO support, and familiarity with IT

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 8+ years in Business Administration, IT, PM, Communications, or related field (or equivalent).
Certifications PMP, CAPM, CSM, SAFe or similar are preferred but not required.
Clearance: Public Trust.
Experience coordinating programs, PMO support, or business analysis in fast-paced, technical environments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization and follow-through.
Experience maintaining program artifacts and schedules.
Strong written and verbal communication to translate technical discussions into clear actions.

Responsibilities

Maintain program trackers for actions, risks, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
Monitor schedules across multiple workstreams and elevate at-risk items to TPM.
Follow up with internal teams and subcontractors to obtain status and deliverables.
