Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Health Technology Management Services team. This fully remote role supports the DoD/VA IT landscape with a focus on current and future architectures and solution design.

The ideal candidate will guide architecture efforts, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy while leading a small architecture team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, CS, systems, business or related technical field.
• 15 years of related experience; 10 years can substitute for education.
• Expert-level knowledge and highly innovative problem-solving.
• Experience leading others and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop a holistic view of the organization’s current IT architecture, operations, and modernization initiatives.
• Build a trusted advisory relationship with the client.
• Maintain technology roadmaps and runways aligned to strategic goals.
• Interface with users/stakeholders to determine needs and priorities.
• Manage and track technical data across products and teams for inquiries and data calls.
• Support and defend the intake process for new work and changes.
• Leverage GovCIO resources across programs.
• Monitor and interpret directives from leadership and recommend approaches.
• Communicate and advocate clearly for alternative viewpoints.
• Collaborate with the client to manage team priorities and architecture scope.
• May supervise 1–4 people.
