Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive requirements and backlog for EW & Sensing solutions. The role reports to the Director of Product Management and requires translating complex defense requirements into hardware configurations and software specs.

You will own NPI cycles for the FASST and LSNRS product lines, manage edge-node transceiver optimization, and collaborate across hardware/software teams. Expect travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical product management or systems engineering in defense, aerospace, or wireless communications industries.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications, RF systems, signal processing, SDRs, mesh networking, or electromagnetic spectrum operations.
• Ability to translate high-level military or tactical use cases into technical requirements.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional engineering, operations, and sales teams to meet release dates.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level tactical EW mission capabilities into granular software user stories and hardware/sensor configurations.
• Direct technical requirements, drive physical hardware NPI cycles, and validate end-to-end user experience for FASST Handheld and LSNRS portfolios.
• Own how the transceiver operates for edge node operations.
• Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineering teams.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences for EW-related software features, firmware, and updates.
• Oversee technical lifecycle and physical hardware NPI from concept to deployment and sustainment.
• Travel up to 25% for field testing, customer integrations, or meetings.
