Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to drive requirements and backlog for EW & Sensing solutions. You will translate complex defense needs into hardware configurations and software specs, owning NPI and lifecycle for FASST/LSNRS lines while enabling edge-node RF data exchange.

The role reports to Product Management, is hybrid in Irvine, CA with remote options for US candidates and travel up to 25–50%. Requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical product management or systems engineering in defense, aerospace, or wireless comms.
• Strong knowledge of wireless RF systems, signal processing, SDRs, mesh networks, or spectrum operations.
• Ability to translate military/tactical use cases into technical requirements.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams to meet release dates.
• Security Clearance: active U.S. SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Background checks and drug testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Translate defense requirements into hardware specs and software UX.
• Direct NPI cycles for FASST Handheld and LSNRS products.
• Own edge-node operation definitions for transceivers.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and releases for EW software features.
• Oversee product lifecycle from concept to deployment and sustainment.
• Travel up to 25% for field testing and customer meetings.
• Bridge R&D, engineering, operations, and sales teams.
