Job summary

Qualys is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to drive post-sales success for Enterprise customers. The TAM will articulate the company’s technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, identifying issues to ensure satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

Responsibilities include providing product and technical support, developing new business opportunities, and conveying customer needs to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in security and compliance space: Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Policy Compliance, IDS/IPS, Network Scanners, PCI, and related tools.
• Familiar with federal regulatory compliance issues: ISO 27001, HIPAA, GLBA, SOX.
• Excellent written and oral communication; professional for emails, RFPs and reports.
• Able to communicate with all levels from C-suite to technical staff.
• Organized and analytical; capable of overcoming obstacles with creative approaches.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel; Big 4 consulting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts.
• Identify and develop potential new business opportunities.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams.
• Provide functional and technical support to customers.
• Respond to customer questions on technical and business related issues.
• Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations.
• Attend conferences, seminars, etc.
