Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician to provide expert technical support for warranty and non-warranty cold-side foodservice equipment. You will guide end users and field technicians by phone or email, diagnose issues, and record interactions in the database.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• High-speed home internet connection.
• Comfort navigating MS Word & Outlook.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support via phone and email to end users and field technicians.
• Diagnose equipment issues using manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Document all calls and information in the company database.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to propose engineering changes and track failure rates.
• Assist in repairs on warranty and non-warranty cold-side foodservice equipment.
