Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) to directly communicate with end users and field technicians, providing technical support over the phone and email to repair warranty and non-warranty cold side foodservice equipment. After onboarding, you may pursue CFESA certifications.

You will join the Technical Service team, a collaborative group with strong product knowledge and a playful culture, offering growth, pay options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC or relevant training/schooling.
• All-star communicator with strong verbal and written English.
• Quality, high-speed internet at home.
• Confident using a computer and programs like MS Word & Outlook.
• Passionate about troubleshooting and finding innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and troubleshoot equipment information over the phone or email.
• Provide technical support to end users and field technicians (30+ cases per day).
• Utilize manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose issues.
• Maintain customer call information in the company database for future inquiries.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to document failure rates and propose changes.
