Job summary

ZEISS Group in Texas is seeking a Business Development Representative to grow the assigned ophthalmic territory. You will source and cultivate new eye care professionals, promote ZEISS products and practice-based solutions using consultative selling, and document activity in Salesforce.com.

You will develop territory plans, conduct quarterly business reviews with sales leadership, and work to exceed direct Rx and related targets.

Qualifications

3+ years in B2B sales, preferably Rx/optical/medical devices.
Strong sales focus with ability to move opportunities through the sales cycle and provide forecasts.
Effective consultative, conceptual and negotiation skills; build influential relationships.

Responsibilities

Conduct sales calls with eye care professionals to promote ZEISS products and solutions.
Develop and implement territory plans and account programs for growth.
Document customer activity in Salesforce.com and track performance against goals.
Lead quarterly business reviews with sales leadership and exceed targets; travel within territory.
