Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to manage and grow the assigned U.S. territory. You will source, develop and cultivate new eye care professionals to promote ZEISS products, services, and practice-based solutions using consultative selling approaches.

Documentation of activity will be in Salesforce and you will participate in quarterly business reviews with leadership. The role requires ~3+ years in a B2B sales environment, preferably Rx, optical, medical

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a B2B sales environment, preferably Rx, optical, medical device or retail with Fortune 500 companies.
• Strong consultative, conceptual and negotiation skills with ability to influence customers.
• Medical/optical industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales targets for Direct Rx and strategic products.
• Identify target customers using CRM tools to grow territory sales.
• Plan and execute on-site trainings and seminars to drive demand for Zeiss products.
• Prepare pre-call plans and object handling strategies to overcome objections.
• Document customer interactions and plans in Salesforce.com.
