Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Systems Engineer III – Software Packager to package and deploy desktop software across the enterprise. You will craft secure, compliant installation packages for macOS and Windows, automate deployments, and support OS upgrades and patching.

You will work with MECM/SCCM and Jamf, ensuring stability and security across a diverse user base. You will collaborate with IT teams, create documentation, and help implement change management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 6+ years of Systems Engineer/Programmer experience.
• Experience in large enterprise packaging teams is required.
• Banking/financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify software installation packages for macOS and Windows.
• Develop scripts to automate installations and deployments.
• Coordinate packaging requirements with stakeholders and owners.
• Assist automated deployments using MECM/SCCM and Jamf.
• Test packages for compatibility across macOS and Windows versions.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and security-compliant packaging.
• Support OS upgrades, deployments, and patching.
