Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Systems Engineer III for a remote role supporting 20,000+ end users through automation-driven desktop and endpoint management.

You will design and deliver scalable automation across the Digital Workplace ecosystem, using MECM, Intune, Group Policy, and scripting to improve health checks, remediation, and uptime while partnering with IT operations and managed services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated desktop management solutions, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes across endpoint management, including health monitoring, self-healing remediation, provisioning, and compliance enforcement.
• System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and optimize desktop environments for high availability, performance, security, and compliance; leverage automation to detect and resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting And Support: Handle escalations, diagnose and resolve complex desktop issues; train IT Operations and Support on automated resolution paths.
