Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Systems Analyst II to analyze business functions, requirements, and processes, proposing system solutions with an emphasis on automation and efficiency. You will collaborate with IT, business partners, and delivery teams to document requirements, perform data analysis, and support testing and deployment within an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes low-code/automation, data mapping, and strong stakeholder communication, with a telecommuter/hybrid-friendly setup

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2 years of business systems analysis experience
Experience with Agile (Scrum/SAFe)
Experience with SQL for analysis
Knowledge of healthcare/health insurance processes
Experience with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Confluence, Product Plan

Responsibilities

Represent the business within an Agile delivery team and liaise between business and IT
Document requirements as epics, features, user stories, use cases, and business rules
Apply cost-benefit analysis to evaluate options
Develop knowledge of Premera systems and processes
Analyze current and future-state processes to identify pain points and improve efficiency
Use data sources to validate requirements and troubleshoot issues
Support development of low-code and automation solutions
Assist in defining data requirements and conduct data mapping and reporting activities
Support UAT and test scenario development
Contribute to backlog priorities and sprint planning
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with delivery teams
Perform other duties as assigned
