Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Support Scientist I to provide technical support and product recommendations to customers using Cytiva chromatography products. This remote role reports to the Senior Manager of Scientific Support and is based in Marlborough, MA, with 5% travel.

You will participate in training, maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cytiva products, and help convert inquiries into sales opportunities while adhering to regulatory requirements and delivering excellent

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Life Sciences or related field; required to work in chromatography.
Requires conceptual knowledge of theories and procedures in chromatography sciences.
Minimum of 3 years laboratory experience with Cytiva Life Sciences equipment for Chromatography (AKTA).
Travel requirement: 5% travel to Marlborough, MA; monthly local travel.

Responsibilities

Provide pre- and post-sale technical assistance, troubleshooting, and product recommendations via phone, webchat, and email.
Participate in product training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cytiva products and support literature.
Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date information on customer inquiries and classify as needed (e.g., complaints).
Deliver remote or face-to-face trainings and presentations; assist with field and lab work and system installations.
Identify opportunities to convert technical inquiries into sales possibilities (lead generation, cross-selling).
