Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Support Scientist I to provide technical assistance and product recommendations to customers using Cytiva chromatography products. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Scientific Support and is based in Marlborough, MA as a remote position.

You will participate in product training, maintain up-to-date knowledge, and help identify opportunities for sales growth while ensuring compliant handling of customer inquiries and quality information.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3 years laboratory experience with Cytiva (GE Healthcare) Life Sciences equipment for Chromatography (AKTA).
• Travel: 5% to Marlborough, MA and monthly local travel with regional colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical assistance via phone, webchat, and email.
• Deliver trainings and presentations remotely or in person.
• Identify opportunities to convert technical inquiries into sales opportunities.
