Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Support Scientist I to provide expert technical support for Cytiva chromatography products (AKTA) from Marlborough, MA. The role is remote-capable and involves training customers and maintaining documentation to ensure high-quality service.

You will participate in technical training, respond to inquiries, and identify opportunities to expand sales. Travel is minimal with a strong focus on accuracy and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3 years laboratory experience with Cytiva Life Sciences equipment for Chromatography (AKTA).
• Working knowledge of AKTA, Unicorn, resins and purification methods.
• Travel 5% to Marlborough, MA and monthly local travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical assistance via phone, webchat, and email.
• Participate in product training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and literature.
• Maintain accurate records of customer inquiries and process them consistently.
• Deliver presentations/trainings remotely or face-to-face as needed.
• Identify opportunities to convert inquiries into sales leads.
