Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Support Scientist I to provide expert scientific support to customers using Cytiva products, operating remotely from Marlborough, MA. In this role you will handle technical inquiries, product training, and potential sales opportunities while adhering to regulatory standards.

The position reports to the Senior Manager, Scientific Support and offers remote work flexibility with a 70k–85k salary range and eligibility for bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field; Masters/PhD preferred.
• Minimum 3 years laboratory experience with Cytiva Life Sciences chromatography equipment (AKTA).
• Travel: 5% to Marlborough, MA and local travel with regional colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical assistance via phone, webchat, and email.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Cytiva products and support literature.
• Record and manage customer inquiries with accuracy and compliance.
• Deliver remote or in-person trainings and presentations to customers or colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to convert inquiries into new sales opportunities.
