Job summary

Cytiva is hiring a Support Scientist I to deliver high-quality technical support for our chromatography products, including AKTA systems, Unicorn software, and resin purification. The role is remote from Marlborough, MA with a 5% travel expectation and potential for training and customer-facing presentations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Requires conceptual knowledge of chromatography theories, practices, and procedures.
• Minimum 3 years lab experience with Cytiva/GE Life Sciences chromatography equipment (AKTA).
• Experience with Unicorn software and purification methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical support via phone, webchat, and email.
• Participate in product training and knowledge development.
• Keep up-to-date on Cytiva products and support literature.
• Present or train customers remotely or in person as needed.
• Identify opportunities to convert inquiries into sales leads.
