Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Support Scientist I to provide technical support to customers using Cytiva products in their discovery journey. This remote role reports to the Senior Manager, Scientific Support and is based in Marlborough, MA.

You will perform pre- and post-sale technical assistance, participate in product trainings, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cytiva products. You’ll document inquiries, handle complaints, and contribute to trainings, field and lab

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences or related field (Bachelors required; Masters/PhD preferred).
• Minimum 3 years laboratory experience with Cytiva Life Sciences equipment for Chromatography (AKTA).
• Working knowledge of the AKTA instrument, Unicorn software, chromatography resins and purification methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical assistance via phone, webchat, and email.
• Participate in product training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all required Cytiva products, services, and literature.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date information on customer inquiries and handle complaints.
• Deliver trainings remotely or in person and assist with field and lab work, literature reviews, and system installations.
• Identify opportunities to convert technical inquiries into sales (lead generation, upsell).
