Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Support Scientist I to provide expert technical support to customers using Cytiva products in their discovery journey. This remote role reports to the Senior Manager, Scientific Support and is based in Marlborough, MA with travel around 5%.

You will answer inquiries by phone, webchat, and email; participate in product training; and keep accurate records while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years laboratory experience with Cytiva AKTA chromatography systems.
• Experience with Unicorn software and chromatography resins.
• Willingness to travel about 5% to Marlborough, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical assistance by phone, webchat, and email.
• Participate in product training and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of customer inquiries while following regulations.
• Deliver trainings remotely or in person to customers or colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to convert inquiries into new sales.
