Actalent is seeking a Substation Engineering Team Lead to guide a growing team of physical substation engineers and designers across the US. This 100% remote role offers technical direction, project oversight, and opportunities to advance the substation engineering practice.

Ideal candidates have a strong electrical engineering background, PE preferred, and proven leadership of 5+ engineers. You will influence project delivery, mentoring, and business development while collaborating with diverse

Formación

• Experience in substation engineering with a focus on physical substation design.
• Strong background in electrical engineering/utilities engineering, power systems and utility design.
• Proven leadership of teams of 5+ individuals with staffing, mentoring and performance management.
• Hands-on experience leading engineering projects for utility clients in physical substation design.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of physical substation engineers and designers.
• Oversee planning and delivery of substation projects within scope, time, and budget.
• Provide technical guidance on complex substation projects and review designs.
• Manage operational performance including utilization, forecasting, and profitability metrics.
• Coordinate resources for 5+ engineers to support multiple utility clients across the US.
• Perform peer reviews and ensure quality across all deliverables.
• Support business development and client presentations.
