Job summary
Atwell, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical/Substation Engineer for a remote role. You will oversee detailed design packages, coordinate cross-disciplinary work, manage schedules and budgets, and guide a team to deliver high-quality substations and related facilities across projects.
The role requires FE licensure, a EE/Civil degree, and 5+ years in engineering with strong knowledge of NEC/IEEE codes, AutoCAD/Bluebeam proficiency, and leadership capabilities for a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or civil engineering (ABET-accredited).
- FE license required; PE preferred.
- Experience with substation design and HV/EHV projects; NEC/NESC/IEEE familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee detailed design and engineering for electric power substations and related facilities.
- Coordinate design activities, scheduling, and budgets across multiple disciplines.
- Mentor team members and ensure QA/QC compliance and technical excellence.
