Actalent is seeking a Technical Manager (remote) for Substation in the United States. You will lead a growing substation engineering team, drive project delivery, and foster client relations while shaping business strategy for critical power infrastructure projects.

The role requires a PE license and over 10 years in substation design or protection and control, with strong leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration. Remote work is supported with Atlanta-based leadership in focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• PE certification required with substations experience.
• 10+ years in substation design or protection and control.
• 6+ years consulting with engineering, construction, planning & project management teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the substation department with engineers, designers, and drafters to ensure cohesive operations.
• Provide mentorship to developing leads and supervisors for growth.
• Establish and monitor quality standards across substation projects.
