Job summary

Veeva Systems seeks a Strategy Leader for Clinical Data to expand relationships with the world’s leading pharma companies. You will drive market strategy across SMBs, align with sales, and help customers adopt new operating models for data-driven development.

You will connect with clinical, data management, and IT leaders to craft strategic plans, deliver customer success, and win opportunities with mid-size sponsors. This role is North America remotely based.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in clinical research or healthcare data flow
• Experience in a product company, CRO, or sponsor in a customer-facing role
• Experience selling or positioning the product to customers
• Industry data management or consulting experience
• Experience in sales, account management, or business development
• Strong communication, creative thinking, and presentation skills
• Ability to discuss Clinical Data adoption with business and IT leaders
• Understanding of global product development and regulatory environments
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and presentations

Responsibilities

• Grow and sustain the Clinical Data customer base
• Develop and execute the Clinical Data vision for emerging to mid-size companies
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders around Clinical Data
• Leverage networks to drive adoption of Clinical Data
• Create value-oriented materials for emerging/mid-size sponsors
• Provide thought leadership and sales support for adoption of Clinical Data products
• Advise product teams on features and functionality in Clinical Data apps
• Stay updated on industry trends and address customer challenges
• Contribute to special Clinical Data projects as assigned
