Job summary

Veeva Systems, a mission-driven SaaS leader in life sciences, seeks a Strategy Leader for Clinical Data to drive growth with top pharmaceutical customers. You'll shape market strategy, engage with clinical and data management leaders, and collaborate with sales to win opportunities worldwide.

You will influence product direction, deliver strategic plans, and advocate new operating models across pharma/biotech, CRO, and technology partners. This role can be based anywhere in North America.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in clinical research or healthcare data flow.
• Experience in a product company in a customer-facing role.
• Industry data management and/or consulting experience.
• Desirable experience in sales, account management, or business development.
• Strong communication, creative thinking, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to innovate across business processes and technology solutions.
• Ability to hold meaningful conversations with business and IT executives regarding Clinical Data introduction, adoption, and scaling.
• Deep understanding of clinical data industry trends.
• Understanding of global product development, clinical trial process, and regulations.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand the Clinical Data customer base for enterprise sponsors.
• Develop and execute the Clinical Data vision for enterprise sponsors.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders within and adjacent to Clinical Data.
• Leverage professional networks to aid adoption of Clinical Data.
• Create value-oriented materials for enterprise sponsors.
• Provide thought leadership and sales support to drive adoption of Clinical Data products.
• Offer business and technology guidance to the product team on new or improved features.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and address customer challenges.
• Present at industry conferences, lead webinars, and author articles for publications.
• Handle special Clinical Data projects as assigned.
