Job summary

ABB is seeking a Strategic Segment Proposal Engineer in the United States to develop technical and commercial proposals for data centers and critical manufacturing facilities. You will partner with Strategic Account Sales Managers to drive ITO processes, focusing on high-probability and high-profitability projects.

The role requires deep knowledge of ABB electrification products, cross-functional collaboration, and travel up to 2-3 times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in electrical distribution or related industry; minimum 5 years in sales and project quotations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with SAMs and Strategic Customers to understand CTQ factors essential for growth.
• Organizing and lead deal strategy and pricing discussions with internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to development of innovative solutions using ABB's product portfolio.
• Evaluating project risk triggers and coordinating with leadership and risk manager as needed.
