Job summary

Recycle Track Systems (RTS) is seeking a remote Account Manager to oversee a strategic book of business with internal and external clients. You will handle account management, procurement negotiations, and service requests within customer processes, aiming to expand partnerships and improve margins.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in account management, procurement, and/or customer success.
• Experience in the waste and recycling industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong task prioritization and multitasking with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a team while delivering independent results.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Book of Business in the Strategic Partnership Team.
• Ensure retention metrics and that customers remain under long-term contracts.
• Generate new opportunities within existing customer networks for new sites and services.
• Attend sales meetings and conduct business reviews with Key Accounts.
• Ensure daily use of CRM for customer activities and sales pipeline management.
• Update CRM systems daily with customer and prospect data.
• Monitor customer activity and recommend service changes or other solutions.
• Guide customers as an industry expert on waste and recycling technology and regulations.
• Collaborate with Sustainability to assist customers with complex needs (audit, reporting).
• Attend client meetings and company events to manage the portfolio.
• Execute service requests with hauling partners (extra pickups, temporary bins, etc.).
• Perform other duties or projects as needed.
