Job summary

Recycle Track Systems (RTS) is seeking an Account Manager in a remote, nationwide role to lead a strategic book of business with hauling partners and internal teams. You will own end-to-end account management, procurement, and service requests, focusing on retention and profitability across a growing client base.

You will collaborate with Sustainability and Sales, use CRM daily, and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve customer and vendor experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Account Management, procurement negotiations, and/or customer success.
• Previous experience in the waste and recycling industry.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to take ownership of results.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Book of Business in the Strategic Partnership Team.
• Ensure retention metrics and long-term contract stability.
• Generate new opportunities within existing customer network for growth.
• Attend sales meetings and conduct business reviews with Key Accounts.
• Maintain daily CRM usage for customer activities and sales pipeline.
• Update CRM with customer and prospect information daily.
• Provide industry expertise on waste and recycling technologies to meet goals.
• Collaborate with Sustainability to assist with audits and reporting.
• Participate in client meetings and company events to manage portfolio.
