Job summary

CPS, part of the Optum family, is seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive business development for hospital and health-system clients across the United States. You will prospect, build executive relationships, and present value-rich proposals to senior leaders.

This role offers remote work flexibility nationwide with in-person requirements in some markets, and a strong focus on meeting sales quotas, driving growth, and representing CPS in industry events and promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of senior sales experience with hospital or healthcare leaders.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to create presentations and analyses.
• Able to travel up to 50% of the time and pass an MVR background check.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes strategic sales plans to achieve quotas.
• Researches market opportunities and maintains a database of potential clients.
• Conducts client meetings and delivers compelling proposals.
• Represents CPS/Optum at trade associations and events.
• Collaborates with operations to assess prospects and expand accounts.
• Ensures budgetary compliance and analyzes expenditures.
