Job summary

ZEISS Group in the United States seeks a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive market development and opportunities across the Clinical and Diagnostic segments. You will translate customer insights into effective positioning, content, and sales support, collaborating with Marketing Communications to activate campaigns and with field teams to grow relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related; MBA or PhD a plus.
5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales in FDA-regulated or related Clinical and Diagnostic equipment.
Proven experience in content development, digital marketing, or managing web platforms.
Strong knowledge of the market, channel partners, group purchasing organizations and contracts, customer buying journey, and competitive landscape.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Grow qualified opportunities for the North American Clinical and Diagnostic segment.
Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer use cases.
Develop differentiated product positioning, value propositions, and content.
Collaborate with Marketing Communications, Sales Enablement, and cross-functional teams.
Represent ZEISS at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events to build relationships.
Monitor market signals and competitive activity to refine priorities.
